Prices & VAT
We are not currently VAT registered - the stated prices are the actual prices you pay (plus S&H).
Shipping & Handling
We take the utmost care in packaging prints. Unstretched canvas prints are normally packed in a strong cardboard tube. Canvas prints on stretchers will usually be packed in bubble wrap and a strong cardboard box. Paper prints are either dispatched flat or boxed. Delivery will normally be made by carrier (e.g. UPS) or Royal Mail. Shipping and Handling (S&H) is charged at £15 per order for all orders to mainland UK. Orders £150 and over - delivery is FREE to mainland UK. Outside mainland UK, please email for quotation.
Allow approx 14 working days for delivery (although often quicker). Should you require an express delivery, please contact us by email when we can quote for this extra service.
In the very unlikely event that you receive a package that you think has been opened, or you suspect the items might have been damaged in transit, this MUST
be noted ("damaged packaging, unchecked goods") on the delivery ticket when you sign for the goods. Please refuse packages with obvious exterior damage and contact us for immediate replacements. We take the utmost care in packaging prints. If you do receive a package that has been opened or has a damaged print, we require written notification within 72 hours. Customer service is happy to hear from you regarding any problems that may develop.
While David Farndale (Publishing) will make every effort to ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition, we can accept no liability for any consequential loss caused by a late, incorrect or damaged delivery.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the "right to cancel" does not apply to “personalised goods or goods made to a consumer's specification”. Prints purchased through this website are printed ‘to order’ only in the size the customer specifies and are therefore exceptions to the regulations. Please therefore be very careful to order exactly what you want before completing the checkout process. Auction sales (e.g. eBay, are also exceptions). No changes can be made once the order has been placed.
Please pay special attention to sizes, because as stated elsewhere on the website, final print sizes are dependent on exact image size ratio and borders. Regard the size you choose as approximate only - your local framing outlet can produce a frame to suit accordingly.
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information such as a credit card number on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using PayPal's Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us from unauthorized access or disclosure, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Other than our limited security guarantee stated above, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access or other acts of third parties, or other acts or omissions.
As soon as you enter the checkout portion of our site, your screen becomes secure by SSL. When in secure mode, the website address should begin with https:// rather than http://. Never send any credit card information through email or on any online comment forms - neither of these methods is secure. We want to help you protect your valuable information.
