Autumn Dance

"Autumn Dance"
by Richard Kraus
view biography
"When we speak of Nature it is wrong to forget that we are ourselves a part of nature. We ought to view ourselves with the same curiosity and openness with which we study a tree, the sky or a thought, because we too are linked to the entire universe."

- Henri Matisse.

Personal Reflection:
Sometimes in autumn I think how parts of myself are in different seasons. Trees have a lot to tell us, it only is a matter of observing them with an open mind.

Technical:
This photograph was taken using a Pentax 6x7 camera and a 90mm lens. The film was Kodak Ektachrome 100 and there was no filtration used.
