Awakening Woodland

"Awakening Woodland"
by Richard Kraus
view biography
"Art is the effort of man to express the ideas which nature suggest to him of a power above nature, whether that power be within the recesses of his own being, or in the Great First Cause of which nature, like himself, is but the effect."

- Bulwer-Lytton (1803-1973).

Personal Reflection:
I felt the boldness of the woodland as it seemed like a lion waking. The setting took little to set my imagination into action.

Technical:
This picture was taken with a Sinar 4x5 view camera and a Nikkor 600mm lens. The film used was Kodak Vericolor negative and there were no filters used.
