"Cold Awakening"

"Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick."

- Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Personal Reflection:
It's hard setting up a tripod and not having wildlife take notice. There is a skill in being still and knowing just when to expose the picture because once the animal hears the shutter you may not have a second chance.

Technical:
This photograph was taken with a Pentax 6x6 camera and a 90mm lens on a tripod. The film was Kodak Ektachrome 100 and there were no filters used.
